panzer solutions hiring Business Objects Developers with strong SQL development skills within a data warehouse environment.

Job Description:

The Business Intelligence developer provides, designs, specifies reporting and analytic solutions in the development of new or existing Business Intelligence solutions to solve basic to complex
problems or enhancements. Acts as a principal designer for major modifications effectively using analytical, problem solving ,technical skills, available technology and tools in the evaluation of client
requirements and processes. Provides solutions that are functionally and technologically sound. May perform day to day support activities and special projects. Often directs and monitors the activities of junior staff.

Basic Qualifications Required:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree with at least eight years involvement in systems analysis and application development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years of experience working with Business Intelligence, Analytics and\or Data Warehousing technologies
Requires a thorough, detailed and creative individual with strong analytical, conceptual, and problem solving abilities
Actively participates as an analytics and Business Intelligence advocate and expert to help promote the development of an analytics and Business Intelligence culture.
Requires a complete understanding of the business intelligence development life cycle including the ability to conduct interviews and gather the needs, motives and desired outcomes for the BI solutions being built.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present to the target audience.
Must be detail orientated/articulate with excellent time management and organizational skills

Must have:

Experience working with technologies such as but not limited to the Business Objects Development suite
(Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence Dashboard Designer), Oracle,SQL Server, Teradata or other similar Business Intelligence\Data Warehouse technologies.
SQL development skills – MS SQL, Oracle or Teradata
Ability to lead or actively participate in technical walkthroughs.
Capable of quickly learning new technical skills.

Experience with other BI Reporting tools such as Cognos, Qlikview, Tableau would be an added advantage but not required.
