Job Title: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)
Location: Portland, OR

• This is 12 month SDET position for his team. He is looking for someone who can write Object Oriented code in C#, build applications using JavaScript and Angular JS. This person also needs to have a solid understanding of test automation, well rounded, working with Selenium, JUnit, Protractor, etc. He told me in the Northwest there are many of these types of candidates who specialize in this.
• He is not looking for a strong QA, this person must be able to code, this is still a heavy engineering position. Does not want to see people with QTP. They need to be able to write test scripts that hold up, are maintainable, and performant. They will be driving overall testing development, and need to show a sense of leadership and guidance to the other developers on the team. Solid communication is needed. 

Formal Job Description:

• The ideal candidate will have experience writing end to end automated application tests that are deterministic, not brittle, and easy to maintain. Experience with Selenium, Selenium Grid, and writing WebDriver tests in C#, JavaScript, or Python. Experience with Sauce Labs would be helpful. Experience writing end to end test of AngularJS application using Protractor is also desired.
• Software Engineer Specializing in end to end automated application testing.
  Candidates must also be comfortable working in an open Agile Scrum environment with developers that care about the quality of their code and where TDD is absolutely mandatory.
