This position is for a Senior Business Analyst who also has Project Management experience. As part of this role, the person would perform dual roles: Business Analyst Role as well as Project Manager role.
The Senior BA partners with users to prioritize requests, document requirements, write specifications, develops test scripts and performs testing.
This person coordinates report development with the development team.
The person also develops Project Plans, Project Schedule, Weekly Status Reports, develop and track resource plan, ensure project gets delivered within the given scope, time and budget. In addition to new deployments, enhancements and maintenance of the current implementations of the BI platform is required.
5-7 years as a business analyst especially in Business Intelligence area
Experience with Microsoft BI (SSAS/SSIS) or an equivalent tool
Knowledge of SQL for Oracle (ability to test report comparing with direct SQL)
Experience in Finance Domain (Invoicing/Accruals/Payments/Rebates)
Experience in analyzing business requirements, write functional specifications, Testing, Reconciling reports, Ensuring data consistency and integrity Secondary Experience Oracle ERP Experience
Nice to have – Supply Chain Domain Experience (Order Management / Logistics / Inventory)
Nice to have – Business Analysis experiences across wide range of technologies (in addition to BI) would be a plus as the person may be needed to write business requirements for other areas
